How long does it take to drive from NY to Maine?

About how long does it take to drive from New York City to Maine? I'm not really sure where in Maine we're going yet, so maybe you could give me a range? I've traveled quite long distances by car before, but I just hope the drive to Maine won't be AS long. Oh, and hows the weather un Maine during the summer? It will take about 4 to 5 hours depending on traffic and where you are going in Maine.I live in Southeastern Ct.The weather is very nice in the summertime.Checkout Bar Harbor is very nice and you could take the cat ferry to Nova Scotia but you would need a passport maybe.Go onto Maine tourism and have them send you info.How long does it take to drive from NY to Maine?
