My husband and I have to be in Protland Maine on February 4th 2010 for a court hearing. We live in South Eastern Virginia. Due to weather conditions in Maine during the month of February, would it be smarter to fly or drive? Either way we are going to have to rent a car to drive while we are there, so would it be smarter to just rent a car here and drive the whole way? Of course, we will also have to have a hotel for about 3 days and food. It's a 13 hour drive for us....what would you suggest?Which would be smarted and more economical?
Drive. If the weather is as bad as normal. all flights canceled then you miss your court date. What the airline tickets cost you pay for gas.
