Me and my husband are looking to move so he can further his education. So far he has an interview in portland, maine and downers grove, il. Now my questions are first are these communities that are well diverse and open to seeing interracial couples (I'm white- he's black). Second how is the job market. I will have my BS in applied science, CNA license, and am currently working as assistant manager in fast food. Will I be able to find a good job to support us through his schooling? How is the weather in both. I know it snows in Maine, is it worse than WV (my current location). I have no idea about IL. Any and all information about both will be greatly appreciated.
