Average temperature for York Beach, Maine in late June?

Does anyone know what this is? Would I have better luck going in July? Is June usually good beach-weather?Average temperature for York Beach, Maine in late June?
It depends of which way the wind is blowing. If it is blowing from the west or northwest off the land late June temperatures will be in the 70s to low 80s. But if the wind is blowing off the still cold water, from the southwest, it will stay in the 60s. Except for the very rare heat wave that comes in from the west instead of the southwest York Beach never suffers and oppressively hot and humid days.
the weather will be good for laying on the beach but the water itself may not have warmed up enough yet, unless you just wade in the shallower/warmer water and dont venture into the deeper stretches...however the trade-off with going later in july is that you will be swarmed with bugs --especially the greenheads which are very nasty little biting bugs similar to a horse fly..i've seen mnay people in those waters around memorial day already so it depends on how "thick skinned" you areAverage temperature for York Beach, Maine in late June?
The weather is great in York Beach in late June and in July, unless it rains. My wife and kids spend much of the summer there. The ocean is too cold for me to enjoy, but the kids love it.
I've never been, but here's a link to current weather conditions. They probably have an average temp chart too. Have a great time!Average temperature for York Beach, Maine in late June?
look at the weather channels web site for averages, or the chamber of commerce. june has changeable weather. i prefer june over july at york beach.
June is too early to do the beach in Maine. Even into early July, the water is still pretty chilly.
