First timer skiing at Sunday River in Maine. Any advice?

Anyone with experience at Sunday River? Where is the best place to stay and eat? What runs are best for a beginner? (I plan to take a lesson.) Also, I live in Florida so I have no cold weather conditioning. I am buying some bibs online, but what do you wear with them? Any other tidbits of info to make my trip great?First timer skiing at Sunday River in Maine. Any advice?
Wear several thin layers of clothing except on your feet, one pair of ski socks and your foot are all that should be in the boot. Your boots should fit TIGHT around your foot and ankle.

Keep well hydrated, drink water, ice your muscles right after skiing to lessen cramping or soreness.

Listen to the advice of your instructor, they will know the area and your skill level.

As to conditioning, start now with a jump rope about 15 minutes a day, swim, any activity to increase your conditioning, Ice your muscles right after skiing for 20 minutes, then go dancing, hot tub and sauna. Enjoy yourself.First timer skiing at Sunday River in Maine. Any advice?
Its funny you mention Sunday River because I am currently watching a ski movie called "Wanderland" that takes place there.First timer skiing at Sunday River in Maine. Any advice?
the Bethel Inn , it's a restaurant as well. you could stay at the sunday river resort, but probably more expensive.
