I am storing a set of wood venerred, Ludwig drums in my garage this winter. The temperature in this part of Maine can get as low as -40 deg.F. What preperations should I do to avoid any damage?DRUM KIT STORAGE IN COLD WEATHER?
Wow. First of all, loosen the skins or they will split open. Wrap the drums in a nice warm blanket and if possible, keep away from the walls because that is where the humidity hangs around.
