In the winter, Maine recieves a large amount of snow. In the summer, it's in the 60-70 degree range, so you need a light jacket in the summer. And it is rare for a hurricane to come because it is a large amount of distance for a hurricane to come from the Gulf all the way up to Maine. Even if one does, it is very weak from being over land instead of water. Usually Maine will just recieve some rain and mild wind.What are some severe weather conditions in Portland, Maine?
