Weather in Millinocket Maine-Early May?

Hey I was wondering if someone could tell me about the weather in this area say the 1st week of May?? I keep hearing mixed results, everything from 5feet of snow to 1 foot of snow to beautiful with an average in the 50's...........Weather in Millinocket Maine-Early May?
I live about an hour away from millinocket, and it SHOULD be decent weather, 45 or low 50's, may get rain/sleet mix, but that would be rare first week of may, especially because it's relatively warm here right now. But bring a jacket, we're unpredictable!Weather in Millinocket Maine-Early May?
In May the average high is 64 degrees and the average low is 41 = overall average of 53. Be prepared for anything though...I used to live about 20 minutes from there and the weather can be very unpredictable...we had a snow day on my birthday once and that was in mid April. Make sure you've got a jacket and some warm clothing just in case...by May its usually pretty nice.
