I am going to visit Molunkus Lake this September to fish, hike and camp. I want to know how the fishing is and what to expect as far as weather. Oh and bugs too. This should be fun!I'm going to Molunkus Lake Maine ins September. What is the weather like and how remote is the lake?
Early September will be beautiful. Cool nights, warm days.
Remote - it's in Aroosktook county, there won't be any shopping malls or TGIF's in the vicinity.
Mosquito's will be the biggest problem, but it's possible that there could be a frost up there in September which will wipe them out.
The leafs will be starting to turn up there in early Sept, it will be Maine at it's best.
