My name is Mikel Wade and I am a 58 year old living in San Diego, CA at 6440 East Lake Drive 92119 USA. I am a former Nationally ranked Ultramarasthon runner who was an all-american for 50 miles and has run from San Diego to Los Angeles, CA in 24-hours, and that is 120 miles. I have also run many marathons with my best time being 2:36:37 at the San Diego Mission Bay Marathion. I have completed over 300 miles in a 6 day race when I was injured with a 106 temperature, bad bl;isters in 100 degree weather.
Currently I am training to walk across the USA diagonally from San Ysidro, CA to Machaias, Maine, beginning on the first day of Spring 2010. I currently am 6'1"/ 193 and have 28% body fat, tested by calipers. I have a personal trainer and workout at Family Fitness in Grossmont Center, La Mesa, CA. I want to lose at least to 168. I started walking in June and weighed 250. I have lost 57 pounds as of today 10/25/2009. I am walking some days 21 hours a day at about 3-4 mph. I am really tough and would love to walk you into the ground.
