How can I move away from my family?

I live in Maine right now and it is the dullest place ever. My dad's side of the family lives in Southern California. I go there every year and i love it so much. theres so much stuff to do. i have a lot of family there. i made friends there who i have a lot in common with. there are good bands and lots of concerts there. the weather is amazing. I'm in my freshmen year of college right now training to be an architect. I also love California's spanish influenced architecture. I even speak spanish. But the problem is, I love my family here so much that i dont see how i could ever leave them. I still live at my moms home because the college i go to has no dorms. I have a 6 year old cousin who comes over once a week and spends the night (sometimes more) and he always tells me im his best friend. He's mostly the reason i don't want to leave. But i hate Maine so much, and I love the city. Two uncles and aunts each (in California) said that they would gladly let me live in their houses. I really don't know what to do. i really want to live in CA, but i dont want to leave my family in Maine. Any advise? its a real problem for me. probably the only problem i have. I really wish that all of my family in Maine would move to CA.How can I move away from my family?
well you could move to ca and vist ur family often and it would get easier to not see them every day and ur cousin will grow up and probaly wont be saying ur his best friend any more but you'll still be thier friend. you have to grow up and maybe u can call ur family every day thats wat my mom doesHow can I move away from my family?
it sounds like you have the best of both worlds....a loving family in two different places who would do anything for you.

As for advice, I say...do your studies in Maine and take vacations in California. When you graduate, re-evaluate where you want to be in the world. See what the job market looks like. And go from there.How can I move away from my family?
Why not plan to re locate when you have finished your schooling? It would break your Moms heart if you were to leave right now not to mention your little cousin.
