Horse needs... is this a good list? like is this what i need to care for horse?
It looks like you have all of the basic essentials. You will most likely acquire more stuff as time goes by. I for one can never leave a tack shop empty handed.
Remember to make a list of the vets and farriers numbers and always keep on hand in case of emergency.
Congratulations on responsible horse ownership!
That's an ok list bit you're missing a fair bit if you're seriously going to get a horse. Every horse has different needs and you have to be willing and able to provide for it. You may have a good stable but you have to be able to care for your own horse, not just leave it to somebody else.
Just because they have high quality feed does not mean that you horse will be suited to it and i take it daily supplements aren't included? To be honest I would not trust my horses nutrition needs to anybody but myself.
Most of the stuff you listed such as earnets, polo wraps, bell boots ect aren't really necessary. What about rugs (stable rugs, travel rugs light and heavy turnout rugs) saddle, hay nets, licks and toys, supplements, protective sprays, wormers, a good farrier, hoof care items, feed buckets, travel gear...these are all basics for anyone who is serious about caring for a horse.Horse needs... is this a good list? like is this what i need to care for horse?
saddle..
but you'll probably think of little things you'll need along the way..
don't forget to think about the real things you need to take care of a horse.. not just materials.. you need time, love, patience, money!
etc.
make sure you know what you're really getting into, cause it's a hard time to sell a horse if you change your mind later
sorrry, i'm not trying to scare you off i'm just letting you know
goodluck!
I would say get a blanket to cover your horse, and a saddle would be useful too! :-)Horse needs... is this a good list? like is this what i need to care for horse?
You should probaly start with the basics...you will findn you need more and more as you go along.
you forgot the saddle: )
