Should I change my life for my girlfriend or not... what would you do?? Need all the help I can get. Thanks!!!?

So I am 19 years old and I just started going out with this girl. We have suddenly fall for each other and are already planning our endless life together. She plans on going to college in Maine and eventually buying a home and settling down there. But for all my life I planned on becoming a psychologist and settling down in Florida where the weather is always hot and spending the rest of my life down there. If she really loved me would she stay here for college or do I have to change my plans around for her and move to Maine and live with her down there? It doesn't make much sense to me why I would change my whole once planned life for a girl I have just fallen for... will the relationship even last? Please help me with supportive details on whether or not I should change my whole life for this one girl..... thanks!!!Should I change my life for my girlfriend or not... what would you do?? Whoa, you're making those plans too quickly. Don't obey those initial passions. You'll regret it later when that passion fades away. An endless life together requires a consolidated relationship, one that's not based on passion but in love, commitment, and acceptance of the other person. You can't fully accept someone you don't even know well yet.

If you want to be a psychologist and settle down in Florida, go become a psychologist and settle down in Florida. If she won't follow you there, find someone who does. No, it doesn't make sense to change your whole life for a girl you just met.

If you decide to stay with your girlfriend, give it a couple years to be really sure you want to be with her forever. Use that time to know her better, to let her know you better. We don't knw if it will last. But anyway, it's wayyy too soon to be arguing over where you guys are going to live. TOO SOON. If she wants to go to school in maine, she should.
