Sleep apnea and c-pap?

i have had my c-pap about less than one year now. the type of c-pap i have has an humidifier and auto setting on it. in the winter the humidifier works great here in Maine. but the weather here is getting warmer and i have found that with no water and the humidifier turned off its still to warm for me to sleep with. i'm looking for any ideas to help with this i need to use my c-pap to sleep. 1 thing i have tryed and it works sometimes is to take the water tray and fill it up with crushed ice. does anyone have any other ideas on to get it to blow cold air. when i had my sleep study it showed that i did not have sleep apnea but i was not able to sleep in there room at all so my Dr. gave me an auto ajusting c-pap. i'm only able to use it about 2-3 hours a night befor it wakes me up ( it feels like the c-pap) is blow the mask off my face. my wife says i still snor right though it. thou 2-3 hours makes a big diff. in my life i still need help i think. not sure what to do next any ideas.Sleep apnea and c-pap?
look their is no good way to do that but you can try using full ice cubes. If you have one of the small c-pap than buy a cooler and put the whole thing in it but DO NOT !! put your c-pap on ice just put the ice in the water tray and make shore that you are not using tap water it tends to evaporate faster due to the chemicals they use to treat it.Sleep apnea and c-pap?
I personally would ask my doctor. They know all about the masks and maybe putting ice in it may affect the way it works. Not right now but overall condition of the machine. If it's hot to wear it at night try having a fan on yourself maybe?Sleep apnea and c-pap?
Definitely have a talk with your doctor. I believe I heard on the radio that there is a new way to do the job without a mask. It's certainly worth a try to check into that.
