I want to move to maine. I was wondering if it is a good place to live in. And i was mostly wondering if the people are friendly. I love it when there is friendly people. I was also wondering if the weather is nice and cold there. i heard it was cold because it is close to canada but i dont know for sure.Is there alot of friendly people in maine?
Yes. they are great ! And it's cold as Hell in the winter. I'm from Vt. and most of the people in New England are very friendly, warm hearted, fun loving. (With the exception of Ct)

maine being close to canada has nothing to do with it being cold. the fact that it is further away from the equator is a greater affect. and i would imagine people are very friendly from there, never met anyone form maine, but generally there are more friendly people than mean in the world. just make sure you are nice if you go and they will treat you the same.
