Is a Maine a good state to live in for snow?

i moving up north for snow and cold weather and maine keeps sparking my mind but im not sure what to do?Is a Maine a good state to live in for snow?
Maine sometimes has snow, sometimes it doesn't. For the last year or two it has. The western part of the state in the "mountains" has more. Don't expect to get a good job here though- we didn't have many jobs even before the national economy sank. NH is a short drive away, and Mt. Washington always has snow; Tuckerman's ravine has skiing until mid May usually if you don't mind walking a bit. Stay away from the coast- the warmer ocean water often makes the end of a snow storm turn into rain.
YES, Maine is a perfect state to live in for snow.

It snows like crazy over there.

Its all the way up north and close to Canada.

so yeah. it is a good state to live in for snow.

I hope this helped.

Good luck!Is a Maine a good state to live in for snow?
Not really. The downhill skiing is horrible and it is cold. Cross country may be OK there but it is terribly flat.
As long as the weather tracks brings storms up there in which they do see quite often. In winter, there can also be noreasters that skirt the east coast bringing in loads of snowIs a Maine a good state to live in for snow?
Maine has snow, yes. Like a previous poster said, the coast gets less snow than inland. If you want to downhill ski, the mountains in Maine are mid-state and border on NH for the most part. NH and Vermont really have better downhill skiing opportunities.

Jobs, it just depends where you live. If you are in the southern part of the state you are near Mass and NH. Anywhere along the western part of the state is close to NH. Obviously the larger the city area you are near, the more jobs there usually are. However, if your career is specific, I'm sure you will research that anyway.

Good luck wherever you move!
