Try to keep it under three to really get yourself thinking why you like these states more then others.
Here's my favorite 2:
Massachusetts: Have had many good times, pretty nice weather, but can be very cold during certain months of year, regardless people there I've had good experiences with, most Bay Staters are very nice, it's a nice place to vacation, and I do plan to live there someday.
Maine - Another good place to vacation. People there are pretty nice, weather at the right time of year is absolutely beautiful, and our family vacation there in 2002, for an example of us going there, was worth every penny, it was so much fun, and we had a great time in that state.
If I had a third one, I'd say South Carolina, because from fireworks to Mertle beach, it's another state I've really enjoyed. What's your favorite US States and Why?
i like mexico... its right smack dab in the middle if the US and it has big gates for u to climb....
Washington D.C.- great for the arts and a wonderful place to learn about history. Its fun to just walk around and look at all the buildings and street performers. there is always something going on as well. And at night, its stunning. Not only that, but you could easily take a train to NYC for only 30 bucks.
Washington state- my best friend in the whole wide world lives there, its beautiful and the city of Seattle is full of character. The small towns out side of the city are charming. What's your favorite US States and Why?

CALIFORNIA:It has forests oceans deserts and mountains
something for everyoneWhat's your favorite US States and Why?
I have many favorite states. I'll narrow it down to a few for you. California, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Florida are my favorites.
California has some of the most breathtaking scenery on earth, especially on the Pacific Coast Highway from Monterey to San Simeon. There are so many wonderful attractions and cities in CA, such as Yosemite National Park, the 17 mile drive in Pebble Beach, Hearst Castle in San Simeon, The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Muir Woods, Joshua Tree, all the beautiful redwood trees, Catalina Island, and much more.
New Hampshire is a very laid back, relaxing place with beautiful mountains and interesting wildlife. The people are very friendly, too. I visted the White Mountains and went to the top of Mt. Washington which was very scenic and interesting. Franconia Notch is also a very lovely place. I also took a moosewatching tour in Gorham. It took awhile to spot any moose, but I finally got to see one up close. That was awesome!
Pennsylvania has beautiful rolling hills and The Grand Canyon of the East in Wellsboro. I was there in the fall and the colors were spectacular. I've also enjoyed Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Lancaster. I love birds and The National Aviary in Pittsburgh was excellent. I was able to hold an African Penguin and it brayed for me. It's name was Simon and it was adorable. In Philadelphia, I enjoyed seeing the Liberty Bell and running up the steps of the Museum of Art just like Rocky did in the movie "Rocky." Lancaster was interesting because of all the Amish people.
Utah has Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon which are both gorgeous parks. I also like Salt Lake City. Floating in the Great Salt Lake was a unique experience.
I named Florida because I enjoy seeing all the beautiful birds and other wildlife in the state. I've enjoyed visiting Flamingo Gardens, Sarasota Jungle Gardens (I was able to hold an alligator there), Florida Aquarium and The Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, Ding Darling Wildlife Area near Sarasota, Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary in Indian Shores, and Parrot Jungle in Miami.
There are many other great states, and I did enjoy MA and SC, as you have. Boston and Cape Cod are great. Charleston, SC, is one of my favorite southern cities. Great people, seafood, and attractions (Magnolia Gardens and Middleton place are my two favorites in Charleston).
