It happened about 4 days ago. The first night she had a lot of gas and her stomach was making a gurgle noise. Then her poop was a mix of liquid and solid. Then her poop became mostly liquid with a bit of solid. Now it has become more solid with a jelly mucus in it. Is this normal? We also just moved to from Maine to Florida in the dead on summer. Could the weather be making the problem worse? I just took her yesterday to get her glands expressed at the vet as well because she had been scooting off and on.My yorkie just ate a piece of bacon and now has a jelly mucus in her poop
take her to a vet ,My yorkie just ate a piece of bacon and now has a jelly mucus in her poop
I had an Austrailan terrier and she had to have her glands expressed every now and then. Sometimes they will have mucas in their poo. The move may have upset her tummy more than the bacon, unless it was not cooked and don't ever feed anyone uncooked bacon. the triganosis could be in it, is a microorganism/worm that grows in your intestines. Its from uncooked pork mostly. Every one has some mucas in their poo but sometimes. My yorkie just ate a piece of bacon and now has a jelly mucus in her poop
that's a little nasty.
