I just got a 2008 Chevy Malibu this May, and I live up in Maine. I currently live in Southern Maine, but make frequent trips to Northern Maine, because thats where I'm from and just about my entire family lives up there.
Now down here in the southern part of the state, we still get alot of snow, but a lot more ice storms than up home. But up there there's alot more snow than ice.
So I was just wondering if anyone knows how this car will handle in the winter weather? I'm an experienced driver, and have driven through a few Maine winters, but only with a couple trucks and a little sunfire. So I'm a little nervous I guess. . . Anybody know? How does the 2008 Malibu Handle in snow?
It's front wheel drive so it should be okay in the snow as long as you take it easy on the gas when you're in the snow. Remember, awd, 4wd, and rwd all handle differently while driving in bad weather, but no matter what, they all stop the same. Most accidents because of overconfidence in having a awd/4wd vehicle, but stopping in the snow is the same process in any car.How does the 2008 Malibu Handle in snow?
If it's ice no car really handles that good in ice but if it's just snow it would probably do good. The more expensive the better! How does the 2008 Malibu Handle in snow?
trade in that piece and get a truck
4x4
no problems at all
