I want to go live with my Aunt in Louisiana...?

My aunt lives just outside of Baton Rouge. In a nice neighborhood, where there is a lot to do. I just visited down there and I fell in love with it immediatly.



I live in Maine, and am tired of the snow, and cold weather.



My aunt did some reasearch and told my parents that if I came to live with her for one year, that I could get into LSU, the college I dearly want to go to, for FREE. My parents had no response, but I really want to go their to either persue Criminology, Teaching or Nursing.



Is their ANY way that I could possibly talk/bring up to my parents to let my live their with her?





Those who live in Maine, know why I would want to leave...I want to go live with my Aunt in Louisiana...?

Being from Northren New York, I can certainly understand why you would want to move to a warmer climate.

I'm guessing that you are still in High School and need to finish two more years.

Be responsible and talk with your parents.

You may mean "without paying out of state tuition", not "Free".



New places are always more fun than home. Aunts (and uncles) tend to be less strict than parents. So, there are two reasons Louisiana may appeal to you more than Maine.



You can ask your folks. All they can do is say no. They may be glad to get rid of you for a year.
