I will be getting married at Lori Wilson Park on April 18, 2011 while docking there from my cruise. Could someone tell me what to expect as far as weather? I don't know what weather is like in April in Florida. I am from Maine so I will be likely leaving 50's or lower. Should I plan to have a shawl on hand just incase it is cool? Hoping for at least 70's and 80's would be even better. Are their cabs outside the cruise terminal that will take me to Lori Wilson Park?Cocoa beach in April?
You didn't say which cruise line and port but if you are stopping in Port Canaveral there will be plenty of taxis at the cruise port. I don't know where the Wilson Park is but you may also want to make arrangements for a taxi back to the pier. You must be on time or the ship will leave you.
The weather in Florida that time of year will be very pleasant. It may be kinda chilly, like 65 to 70 in the AM but it will warm up quickly to the 75 to 85 range. There is no way to tell exactly what the weather will be a 6 months away. And also since its Florida it would not be unusual to have a passing shower. That time of year is well before the hurricane season so there is no chance of really bad weather. I suggest that you check a weather web site a few days before your cruise to get the latest.
