Best place to start fresh???

I live in Oklahoma, and need a fresh start. I am open to ANYWHERE, though I have family only in Oklahoma, Maine, and Massachusetts. I prefer colder weather, but it's not a must. Some coast would be nice, I miss the beach. I consider myself an intellectual, so the place must have museums, culture, intelligent poeple, etc. I need somewhere with lots of available jobs and with a lower cost of living. I am open to ANYWHERE.

The west coast is the best place to start fresh. we don't really care about your background, your family or your history - tell us the truth, tell us some lies, we don't care. If you don't mind the rain, there's Seattle ... there's POrtland - more laid back - also rainy. if you can afford, the SF Bay area has everything. But the low cost of living, sorry - maybe Austin if you want culture along with low cost of living?
A fresh start also means overhauling your perspective on your views.

lower cost of living ??? maybe not, but the beaches are worth it, and it has everything else...
Philadelphia. Rent isnt to bad and there are tons of things to do (museums, theater, etc.). Maryland and New Jersey beaches as well as New York City are all easy day trips. And as far as jobs... check out www.phillyjobs.com or www.workphilly.com. And the city is gorgeous. I like it :)
